The Salvation Army summer Camp is in need of art and craft supplies. Located on Main Street, here in downtown Lexington, the Salvation Army provides a safe place to grow and learn for children grades K-8th. Young people enjoy sports, dance and a career day at camp. Also a favorite with the kids are field trips and arts and crafts . If you are interested, Heidi will be collecting items to donate before summer camp starts.

Weather permitting, we plan a day trip on Thursday, March 13 to the Quilter‘s Trunk fabric store in Liberty, KY., with lunch at nearby Daily Harvest restaurant. Possible other stops are an Amish general store in the same area and Elmwood Inn Teas, en route, in Danville. Drivers will be needed. Contact Rhonda Tiefert for exact time, departure location, and carpooling info.
