Let’s Eat

Meet and Greet: We’d love for you to join us for breakfast on the first Wednesday of every month at 9:30 AM at First Watch (119 Reynold Road). It’s a casual and welcoming get-together—no RSVP needed—so come as you are!  This is a great chance to connect with Newcomers & Friends, whether you’re a member or potential member. Check the calendar for more details, and we hope to see you there!

Chatfest: Join us monthly on a Friday mid-morning at various local eateries. Engage in casual conversation over a hot beverage and a bite to eat if you're hungry. No reservation necessary; just come, bring a friend, and enjoy! This activity is open to members and nonmembers — please join us! See calendar for information.

Lunch and Matinee: Come for lunch and a movie chat! Choose your favorite film showing nearby, which we'll watch after lunch. It's the perfect combination of delicious food and great conversation. We'd be delighted to have you join us.

Out to Lunch: Join us monthly for a leisurely lunch at various handpicked restaurants in the heart of Lexington. It's a wonderful opportunity to savor delicious cuisine while enjoying relaxed conversation with fellow members. Come and discover new culinary delights with us.

Out to Dinner:  Are you passionate about food and always seeking new culinary experiences? If so, you're in for a treat! Join us each month as we embark on culinary adventures to explore the diverse and vibrant dining landscape of Lexington. (Co-ed activity)

Sunday Brunch: Join us once a month for a relaxed brunch at local restaurants. It's a great way to unwind, enjoy delicious food, and connect with fellow members in a welcoming atmosphere. (Co-ed activity)

Significant Others Go Out: A men's group that gathers once a month for breakfast.

Let’s Gather

Quarterly Luncheons and Potlucks: Join us for our summer and winter luncheons and spring and fall potlucks – a time to make new friends and cherish the old ones. These events are open to members and their guests.

Book Clubs: Newcomers hosts three distinct book clubs, each convening monthly at different times and days. Every club chooses its own collection of books for members to read and discuss.

Ladies Wine Group: Whether you're a Malbec maven, a Pinot pal, or a wine novice eager to learn more, this group is for you. Join us monthly at a member's home to sample wines and share appetizers.

Co-Ed Wine Group: Indulge in an evening of camaraderie and wine appreciation with our co-ed group. We gather monthly at a member's home, where the host selects a theme for the evening. Participants are invited to bring a bottle of wine and an appetizer to share.

Stitchery Group: If you enjoy activities, such as crocheting, knitting, embroidering, cross-stitch, needlepoint, tatting, lace-making, or any other form of manipulating thread or fabric, and you're looking to connect with like-minded individuals who share your passion, we invite you to join us for our monthly 'stitch-together' gathering.

Quilting Group: Calling all quilting aficionados! Join our monthly gathering to connect with fellow enthusiasts, share creative ideas, and celebrate our love for quilting together.
