Meet and Greet: We’d love for you to join us for breakfast on the first Wednesday of every month at 9:30 AM at First Watch (119 Reynolds Road). It’s a casual and welcoming get-together—no RSVP needed—so come as you are! This is a great chance to connect with Newcomers & Friends, whether you’re a member or potential member. Check the calendar for more details, and we hope to see you there!

Chatfest: Join us monthly on a Friday mid-morning at various local eateries. Engage in casual conversation over a hot beverage and a bite to eat if you're hungry. No reservation necessary; just come, bring a friend, and enjoy! This activity is open to members and nonmembers — please join us! See calendar for information.

Co-Ed Out to Dinner: Are you passionate about food and always seeking new culinary experiences? If so, you're in for a treat! Join us each month as we embark on culinary adventures to explore the diverse and vibrant dining landscape of Lexington.

Co-Ed Sunday Brunch: Join us once a month for a relaxed brunch at local restaurants. It's a great way to unwind, enjoy delicious food, and connect with fellow members in a welcoming atmosphere.

Lunch and Matinee: Join us for lunch and a movie chat! Pick your favorite film playing nearby, and we'll watch it together after enjoying a delicious meal. Prefer just lunch? That’s perfectly fine too! It’s the perfect mix of great food and even better conversation. We’d be thrilled to have you with us!

Out to Lunch: Join us monthly for a leisurely lunch at various handpicked restaurants in the heart of Lexington. It's a wonderful opportunity to savor delicious cuisine while enjoying relaxed conversation with fellow members. Come and discover new culinary delights with us.

Significant Others Go Out (SOGO): A men's group that gathers once a month for breakfast, lunch or happy hour.

Let’s Gather

Book Clubs: Newcomers hosts three distinct book clubs, each convening monthly at different times and days. Every club chooses its own collection of books for members to read and discuss.

It's 5 O'clock Somewhere (Co-Ed Happy Hour): Every other month explore the local Happy Hour offerings in and around our community.

Co-Ed Spirits and More: Explore the variety of whiskeys, including bourbon, ryes and more. Every other month we will meet in member homes with heavy appetizers to complement the spirit of the night or the group may opt for a “field trip” to a distillery or an organized spirit tasting event.

Co-Ed Wine Group: Indulge in an evening of camaraderie and wine appreciation with our group. We gather monthly at a member's home, where the host selects a theme for the evening. Participants are invited to bring a bottle of wine and an appetizer to share.

Cork Delight: Ladies’ wine tasting group to explore the world of wine with friends.

Stitchery Group: If you enjoy activities, such as crocheting, knitting, embroidering, cross-stitch, needlepoint, tatting, lace-making, or any other form of manipulating thread or fabric, and you're looking to connect with like-minded individuals who share your passion, we invite you to join us for our monthly 'stitch-together' gathering.

Quilting Group: Calling all quilting aficionados! Join our monthly gathering to connect with fellow enthusiasts, share creative ideas, and celebrate our love for quilting together.

Games, Games, Games: Are you a board game enthusiast? Whether you're a seasoned strategist or just looking for some casual fun, we invite you to join us at a local library for an afternoon filled with laughter and excitement as we gather to play a variety of board games together– all skill levels are welcome.

Lady Pins: Enjoy bowling in an “unsanctioned,” fun atmosphere at Southland Bowling Lanes.

Let’s Learn Mah Jongg: Learn to play Mah Jongg. 1st and 3rd Fridays at 1:00-4:00 pm March-April. You must make a commitment to all four sessions.

Mah Jongg, That’s It!: Join our Mah Jongg group for this fun and engaging game that blends skill and luck. Whether you’re a beginner or have years of experience, all skill levels are welcome.

Triple Play and Trisom: We meet several times a month on different days of the week to play Triple Play and Trisom games. These games are extensions of Canasta, offering easy and enjoyable learning experiences. We welcome everyone to join us for a great time!
