Our Mission

Whether you're new to the Lexington area or have lived here for years, you'll find a warm welcome at Newcomers & Friends of Central Kentucky. We're a nonprofit social club where people come together to make new friends, explore the Bluegrass region, give back to the community, and have fun. Our members enjoy a wide variety of member-led activities that bring together people with shared interests and create lasting connections.

Membership Eligibility

Membership is open to anyone living in Lexington and the surrounding Central Kentucky area. Whether you're new to the area or have called it home for years, we welcome anyone who enjoys making new friends, trying new activities, and being part of a vibrant community.

Dues

Our membership year runs from April 1 through March 31, and new members are welcome to join at any time. Annual dues are $30, with prorated rates available for members who join between August and March.

Leadership

Newcomers & Friends of Central Kentucky is a volunteer-led nonprofit organization that thrives because of the time and talents of our members. Our Board of Directors is elected by the membership to serve two-year terms, with responsibilities outlined in our Constitution and Bylaws.
